For Spring-Summer 2025, we debuted our new partnership with the London-based label KNWLS, an LVMH Prize and BFC/Vogue Fashion Fund finalist. For their recent collection, presented at London Fashion Week, designers Alex Arsenault and Charlotte Knowles study the sartorial grammar of their favourite couturiers — including the master drapery of French couturier Madame Grès. Draped dresses and wispy skirts were cut in fabrics woven from TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers, as was the gossamer trailer skirt of the final look — a delicately boned bridal gown.

Such a partnership gives up-and-coming brands access to our technology and expertise to develop their sustainability practices. In November 2024, we also supported KNWLS’ Cats and Dragons capsule collection, which launched as a pop-up in Shanghai concept store ENG. Several styles were produced from textiles woven from TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers, while screen-printed motifs were created by ‘Bio-Black TX by Nature Coatings’, a new pigment derived from wood waste by Nature Coatings, an innovator working with TENCEL™ fibers.
