Lenzing Shined at INDO INTERTEX & INATEX 2024 with Signature Collections and Latest Innovations

With millions of employees and a high volume of exports, the Indonesian textile industry holds substantial economic value and is positioned for further growth as this fast-growing market aims to solidify its position as a key global player.

Beginning on March 20, Lenzing attended the 20th edition of INDO INTERTEX & INATEX 2024, a key four-day textile exhibition in Indonesia and one of the most respected events in Southeast Asia, to showcase its latest fiber innovations for the Indonesian market. By participating in INDO INTERTEX & INATEX 2024, Lenzing demonstrated its commitment to the Indonesian market as a leader in the fiber industry and a reliable partner for textile businesses in the country.

Lenzing showcased its signature fiber portfolio under the TENCEL™ and LENZING™ ECOVERO™ brands, as well as its LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibers with REFIBRA™ technology, which involve upcycling of cotton scraps from pre- and post-consumer waste, in addition to wood, to address circularity requirements in consumers products.

The LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose black fiber, now produced at Lenzing’s Purwakarta site (PT. South Pacific Viscose) in Indonesia, was also showcased at the fair, contributing to supporting Indonesia’s textile industry and economic development.

Lenzing’s participation at INDO INTERTEX & INATEX 2024 also served as a testament to the strong partnerships Lenzing has built with ten spinning mills and fabric factories across the globe. These include Embee Plumbon, Indo Raya Energi, Excellence Qualities Yarn, Tantra Group, Indo Pacific, Gamatex, Lucky Print Abadi, Mulia Lestari, Paramatex, and Tokoencit. Through direct business meetings with these 10 partner mills, from spinning to fabric mills, Lenzing leveraged and facilitated these discussions between potential buyers and the mill, thereby enhancing collaboration within the industry.

Amid the rising demand for eco-friendly textile solutions, Lenzing responded and reaffirmed its leadership role in driving the adoption of responsible ingredients and fiber solutions within the textile sector. Lenzing’s participation at INDO INTERTEX & INATEX 2024 demonstrated its continuous contribution to driving positive transformation in the global textile industry.
