During the Intertextile Shanghai Autumn 2021 trade fair, the TENCEL™ brand partnered with more than 30 downstream customers to bring to life this year’s theme – “Start the True Carbon Zero journey with the TENCEL™ brand.” When visiting the Lenzing pavilion, attendees were offered firsthand access to fabrics and final products made with carbon-zero TENCEL™ branded lyocell and modal fibers, as well as carbon-zero TENCEL™ branded lyocell fibers with REFIBRA™ technology. The booth also showcased an array of TENCEL™ fibers to exhibit Lenzing’s diverse fiber applications and advance the sustainability agenda.
The trade fair is China’s most comprehensive platform for brands to exhibit their latest apparel innovations. Renowned as the most important event for Chinese textile manufacturers, the TENCEL™ brand was excited to showcase its latest sustainability concepts, innovations and available fibers to a crucial market for the global garment industry. With carbon neutrality being a trending topic in China, it was an opportune time for the TENCEL™ brand to present its sustainability-driven solutions for the industry to accelerate its environmental journey.
Lenzing’s booth had an overwhelmingly positive reception. During visits from members of the China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC) and various trade stakeholders, many were impressed by the diversity of sustainable solutions offered by the TENCEL™ brand.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of Lenzing’s presence at Intertextile Shanghai Autumn. The TENCEL™ brand has always been firmly committed to sustainable fiber development, and is proud to educate customers, partners and industry influencers in China about the benefits of environmentally friendly fibers.
