STAPLE FIBER AFTERTREATMENTFor careful and effective treatment of staple fibers. Features
In DetailFiber staples which come from the spinning machine still contain pollutants such as sulphuric acid, sodium sulphate, zinc sulphate, carbon bisulphide, finely-distributed sulphur and residual xanthate which must be removed. Furthermore, the fibers must reach a certain grade of whiteness and posses certain spinning characteristics. Aftertreatment is divided into the steps detailed above. Fiber fleece is transported through the treatment areas with fleece borders and small presses to the large press. Each treatment area has a separate sprinkler and collecting trough. The softening section has a separate belt conveyor. |
