LENZING Technik > Engineering & Contracting > Pulp Technology > Bleaching Technologies

Bleaching Technologies

Features

Consulting, engineering and project services for any bleach plant.

In Detail

There is a clear trend in bleaching technology development (ECF, TCF and TEF) in the pulp industry since 1990.

The use of chlorine or chlorine compounds in bleaching and its effect on product quality as well as environmental impact has become a major environmental issue within these years. Whereas the use of chlorine as a bleaching chemical was still a matter for discussion only a few years ago, the world wide trend now clearly points in the direction of ECF or TCF bleaching depending upon the product, market demands and environmental regulations.

We are a technological leader in the fields of ECF and TCF bleaching.

The final decision on where to go normally is not an answer to one question only. Besides the above mentioned issues i.e. product quality, market trends and environmental regulations have a major impact on the already existing equipment and infrastructure in the bleach plant.

Our technological know how, the experience from a number of international projects, as well as the usage from engineering tools enables us to create optimal solutions. For sure the local regulations regarding chlorine-chemicals usage on emissions are the major driving force within this issue.
