The Lenzing Management Rejuvenated: New Top Managers for the Films and Paper Sectors
11.01.2000
Since 1 January 2000, the films and paper sectors have a new leadership:
Dipl.-Ing. Johann Huber, process engineer, born 1957, responsible to date for films sales, and Dipl.-Ing. Wolfgang Plasser, plastics engineer, born 1966, responsible to date for production management, will share the leadership responsibilities of the films sector, which sells products for approximately ATS 700 million annually, as a niche-market supplier of high-quality thermoplastic and PTFE products. Both managers have worked for the Lenzing plastic films sector for many years and will succeed Dr. Hubert Scholl, who left the company.
Dipl.-Ing. Heinz tho Seeth retired as head of the Lenzing papermill. Two Lenzing staff members of many years' standing will succeed him - Dr. Gerhard Danninger, a graduate in economics, born 1957, responsible to date for sales, and Dipl.-Ing. Helmut Prokop, paper engineer, born 1959, responsible to date for paper production operations. The sector supplies niche markets with high-quality poster, recycling and envelope paper and generates sales of more than ATS 720 million.
Both sectors are recording good earnings and thus contribute essentially to the good results of the location at Lenzing in Upper Austria. The films sector will soon be divested and become an independent subsidiary company.
