Lenzing AG: New advertising line with super model Naomi Campbell

The Austrian company Lenzing AG, the worlds leading manufacturer of Viscose, Modal and Lyocell fibres, has engaged Naomi Campbell for its new advertising campaign. Lenzings aim is to get closer to the consumer and promote Lenzings image by making a strong fashion statement.

Naomi Campbell is recognised as a professional in the world of fashion thus she symbolises the internationalism of the Lenzing Group. Her competence and skills as an ambassadress of fashion will be a strong persuasive element vis-à-vis fashion conscious men and women.

"This beautiful woman, known throughout the world, says yes to Lenzing: a convincing message to the consumer", says Jochen Werz, spokesman of the Board of Management."She believes in our fibres made of 100% natural materials. Wood is the raw material which is used to produce Viscose, Modal and Lyocell."

With Naomi Campbell serving as model, the Member of the Board responsible for fibres, Franz Raninger, aims to increase end-users familiarity with Viscose, Modal and Lyocell "especially since consumers are still not strongly enough aware of the natural origin of our fibres".

This upbeat campaign, which marks the new positioning of Lenzing fibres, will be launched at the beginning of October at the international textile fair "Première Vision" in Paris in the presence of Naomi Campbell.
