LENZING GROUP: Angelika Guldt: New Head of Corporate Communication

With immediate effect, Angelika Guldt is the new head of corporate communication of the Lenzing Group. Jochen Werz, Spokesman of the Board of Management, assumes once again the function of corporate spokesman. Dietmar Preslmayr – up to date corporate spokesman and responsible for corporate communication – has been appointed as the new commercial director of the paper division of Lenzing AG.
Since 1995, Angelika Guldt (born 1961) has worked as free-lance editor and presenter for the regional TV station BTV Voecklabruck. As part of her work there, she produced a TV feature about the Lenzing Group, at intervals of two weeks, for a period of two years. She has therefore good knowledge about the Group from Upper Austria. After studying interpreting and translation, the mother of two daughters worked as free-lance translator and teacher at the WIFI institute for further training.

The supervisory board of Lenzing AG today announced that they will propose Peter Untersperger as their new chairman as of 1 January 2009 to the company's management board. Peter Untersperger currently is head of finance and will succeed Thomas Fahnemann, who is to join RHI AG.
