Lenzing AG: New Schedule

Owing to the ongoing anti-trust proceedings, the result of which will determine the corporate ownership structure, Lenzing AG has decided to postpone the date of the 57th Annual Shareholders Meeting to a date in late June 2001. The exact date will be announced in a separate communication.
Lenzing AG also informs that the final results for fiscal year 2000 and the first-quarter results for 2001 will be published on 23 May 2001.
