Lenzing PROFILEN® yarns in hosiery are the most effective yarns to reduce skin irritations and blisters. During physical activities such as running or hiking, friction is created between the shoes/socks and the feet. This friction in combination with the perspiration creates skin irritations and sometimes blisters. Lenzing PROFILEN® reduces the friction and its hydrophobia helps the skin to stay dryer, thus reducing the friction and skin irritation.

Lenzing PROFILEN® yarns are highly temperature and chemical resistant, thus allowing the socks to be washed several times. Furthermore, the socks stay soft even after repeated washing.

Lenzing PROFILEN® yarns are abrasion-resistant without losing softness and they can easily be processed on knitting machines.

Our yarns are produced in colours in fibrillated and monofilament yarns with fibres ranging from 220 to 1200 dtex.

Socks with Lenzing PROFILEN® are used for running, hiking, skiing, biking, para-medical and work wear.
