DESCRIPTION:
The production of textile materials has undergone dramatic changes in the last century. In the last few years the interest in man-made cellulose fibres has grown. The purpose of the presentation is to assess the environmental impacts of man-made cellulose staple fibres by using the tool of LCA, and to compare them with their conventional (cotton, PET, PP) and emerging counterparts (PLA).
